Does Picosure work for black tattoos? No result after 1 session

Yes picosure is a good laser for tattoo removal.  It takes many treatments to remove a tattoo. Once the laser breaks down the pigment it takes time for the body to eliminate it. Tattoo removal is a long process you need to be patient.  Discuss your concerns with your provider. 

Thank you for your question. It takes multiple treatments spaced weeks apart to see up to 90% removal of a tattoo. You need to give your body time to absorb and remove the ink from your body. Thanks for you question.  You have embarked on an 18 to 24 month treatment plan to reverse something you thought would be permanent.  This is a long process.  The PicoSure laser is only breaking up the ink into smaller particles.  You have to give your body time to absorb and eliminate the toxins that were put in your body.  Some patients will notice that their ink is darker.  It is because the ink is moving closer to the surface.  We suggest waiting at least 3-4 months between treatments.  Treating more often just gives you a greater chance for collateral damage to the underlying skin and doesn't speed up the process.  Best of luck.
