Liposuction reduces the fatty layer thickness  but can not remove it all. First, you are likely still very swollen as the swelling may take several months to go away. You may also have loose skin as that will not likely change.

It certainly takes more than a week for swelling to dissipate, whether from liposuction or the reduction. Be patient and follow up with your surgeon, if necessary.
