How long for breast reduction and lateral lipo swelling to subside?

Hi all, Just had a breast reduction and lateral lipo on each side of my breasts. It's been almost a week since my surgery but it doesn't look like I had any lipo at all. Other doctors said wait till swelling goes away. How long for the swelling from lipo to go down? How about the swelling from a breast reduction?

Liposuction reduces the fatty layer thickness  but can not remove it all. First, you are likely still very swollen as the swelling may take several months to go away. You may also have loose skin as that will not likely change.

It certainly takes more than a week for swelling to dissipate, whether from liposuction or the reduction. Be patient and follow up with your surgeon, if necessary.
