We recently had a rep for Exilis visit our clinic where we were utilizing LEDs for fat reduction. These LEDs did not come into direct contact with the client's skin tissue, however, Exilis is a hands-on procedure. We only have 1 certified laser operator at our facility and although radio frequency isn't laser, we were uncertain whether staff members without any specialized training, beyond the 2 days that the Exilis rep promised, would be able to safely treat clients?

Exilis is safe in patients who have dental fillings. I have multiple fillings and have personally had Exilis many times. Especially when you are doing skin tightening only the heat stays at the surface of the skin. The radiofrequency is not transmitted that deeply. Good luck with your therapy!
Since every patient is different, it’s hard to tell exactly how many treatments you will need. With that being said, multiple sessions are needed, but the results are long lasting and can last for years. Generally speaking, I would recommend to start with 4-6 treatments and go from there.
The effect of Exilis is created by heating up the skin to about 40 degrees centigrade and keeping it there for at least 4 to 8 minutes. Each practitioner may have a slightly different protocol and in fact it may differ for each patient. We prefer to keep the power at the higher levels but it may...
