Went to MD after injury but did not receive stitches. 3 months later received steroid injections at dermatologist. 1 month later had first PDL treatment. My scars have lightened SLIGHTLY. I think I overestimated the results from 1 treatment. I am concerned that perhaps I should have gotten stitches. I am hoping that natural fading over time along with 5-10 PDL treatments will be enough to reduce the vascularity to a point where my scars are no longer so noticeable.
