The dentist filed down my own top back teeth and my new crowns so much so the new crown now show the metal through, one right at the back filed down to show the metal and the crown in front of that has a spot of metal coming through the middle. I was surprised she filed down my own teeth as well because we couldn't get my bite right.

Hi, thanks for the question... Filling or crown depends on how much your tooth destroyed, if was a big reconstruction I recommend put the crown, but if was a normal access for root canal, keep your filling and take care. Regards
Sometimes a high spot on a crown can cause the tooth to act up. When the high spot is removed then the tooth can calm down. You may also want to see if you are clenching or grinding your teeth which could exacerbate the situation. Clenching is when you grit your teeth together....
The baby tooth should come out pretty easily if it's loose. Usually when there's a crown, a pulpotomy was done and this may lead to the roots coming out separately from the baby tooth. If that's the case, you may need the dentist to remove the roots separately. Sincerely, Dr. Reiser
