got my permanent crown last Tuesday and had pain whenever I bite down (couldn't use that tooth at all) because the crown was too high. And ever since two days ago, my tooth has been having lingering pain even when not biting. Yesterday dentist adjusted the bite. The dentist said it SHOULD be fine but he never did any x-ray. Will I just have wait another week to see if the pain will be gone? Seems very counterproductive, shouldn't we assume I have it instead of letting it get worse?
