You may fill slight vibration of your facial muscles during the treatment with mild heat but it is not painful.
Emface is not painful, does not require any local or topical anesthesia, and there is no downtime. Each session is 20 minutes in duration. The RF portion of Emface warms the tissue while the electromagnetics stimulates the facial muscle contractions. Although not painful it is a different feeling having the muscles contract for brief periods. It makes your face look like it's squinting, or like you tasted something very sour. Some of our patients say it feels like a facial massage and that it is relaxing.
EmFace is not painful. In fact many of our clients describe it as a relaxing (albeit unique) warm massage. We turn the lights down and ask clients to relax and close their eyes while the machine quietly pings in the background. There are involuntary light contractions on the elevator muscles of the face as well as warmth from the RF tech imbedded in the temporary applicators across your forehead and cheeks. Any discomfort would be an indicator that the RF or muscle stimulation or both should be easily readjusted to a level that is comfortable. We’ve had several clients almost fall asleep during the procedure. Take care and good luck!
the emface procedure has no pain. it does cause an unusual feeling as muscles contract spontaneously. There is no need for numbing or anesthesia
Emface treatments are completely painless and actually feel great! The technology is targeting muscle contraction and controlled focused heat to target the core measures of aging without needles, chemicals, pain, downtime or special precautions after treatments.

There is really no ideal age for Emface treatment. It depends on your facial structure and skin condition. Some people can experience signs of facial framework and skin aging at earlier ages than other people. Emface treatment initiated earlier can achieve a desired result potentially with less...
I have seen the emface be effective in raising brows. in that case, there is some elevation of the lids. Though only a temporary fix look into UPNEEQ drops.
Emface and Trilift are muscle stimulating technologies. If you truly have jowls, these technologies do not address the root cause in the aging face and are a waste of time. Regarding energy based devices, I have been unimpressed by results for jowls. It's difficult to give any further...
While you shouldn’t incur any side effects or negative results performing Botox 1 week before our center always recommends performing EmFace first as you may require fewer units of Botox and your provider can more adequately assess your Botox needs. EmFace is essentially attempting to create a y...
EmFace is a unique non-surgical and less painful treatment to improve shape and laxity of the face and submental area. Ultherapy was novel technology 10 years ago using focused ultrasound pulses to create tiny injuries under the skin. This stimulated new collagen formation and tightening in some...
