2 weeks post op from Breast Reduction, and I possibly popped(?) an internal stitch, and my surgeon is on holidays!

Question

I was trying a dress on today at a store, and while attempting to take the dress off over my head, I felt a slight pop in my left breast. There has been a little bit of pain but nothing serious, I am more so worried and I can't see my surgeon until January 5th! No signs of bleeding, will I be okay until then or should I go to a clinic or emerg?

The good news is that nothing changed in your breast when you felt that "pop".  You mention slight pain, but no increased swelling, no new bruising.  It sounds like you just stretched some young scar tissue.  Don't go to the ER for this--they don't manage these kinds of issues routinely and will call your plastic surgeon for management.  If you're concerned, please get in touch directly with your plastic surgeon or the staff she has covering for her over the holidays.

The popping feeling may have been a suture tearing or scar tissue. Hard to say without knowing more and seeing you in person. If concerned, see your surgeon or his coverage.
