KPRF and Roceasea mix on facial cheeks, should I go through with IPL for the redness? (photo)

I visited a dermatologist yesterday and was told this was a mix of keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii and roceasea and to treat the redness with IPL. Does this sound right? There are no bumps on my face is smooth but I always have redness and turn more flush when I work out or get stressed.
