I am 22 years old and I have had braces for 4 years now, and soon I'll be getting them off. I'm scared once I get them off my bottom teeth will move. Although I am receiving clear retainers due to my eligibility with my Insurance. Should I get both top and bottom permanent retainers or just bottom?

Rubber bands don't always need to feel like they are aggressively pulling your jaw to be working. Finishing an orthodontic case with rubberbands is about the finer movements and getting the bite just right. Be patient and follow your orthodontists suggestions. You will be happy you did.
