I'm new to Boston area, and I'm very unfamiliar with American plastic surgeons. Right now I just want to get Botox injection to reduce my masseter muscle, does someone know how to find a doctor for that? How much will it cost? I want the 100unit type.

The technique is relatively simple as I'm sure you know from having had it done in your county. Because Boston is a huge college town, we see many young Asian students just for this procedure. Answer: Botox for the masseter muscle Botox for the masseter muscle is a fairly simple injection which helps slim the lower face and results are seen in about one month. There are lots of providers that are able to do this. Generally I get excellent results with 50 units of Botox, and frequently less, depending on the size of the muscle so that you probably don't need the 100 units that you are inquiring about. The value of using less is that you may get the same result at a much lower cost. I am in Worcester which is 45 minutes west of Boston and the cost of Botox is $14/unit. Good luck.
