Hi I was diagnosed with chronic TE which unmasked AGA. Scalp biopsy showed neither TE or AGA. I was clinically diagnosed. Will the hair that I lost from TE ever grow back? Dermatologist dismissed me onTuesday and told me to stop stressing over the hair loss and return if symptoms worsen or persist. The TE hit my frontal area and temples .

Happy to read you are minoxidil responsive. Try weaning down the dose and see what happens. If you stop cold-turkey, you will likely shed. Ultimately, you need a dose high enough to achieve the desired effect. Likely, twice daily dosing is providing you more than what you need. Best of luck ...
