I am considering a series of laser genesis treatments. I cannot afford any fat loss to my face. I mainly want to improve pore size and tighten the skin. Thank you in advance for any help.
Answer: Laser Genesis This is a great question, thank you for posting. Laser Genesis is a great treatment for pores, fine lines, pigmentation and mild skin tightening. The process involves gradual warming of the skin without affecting the deep subcutaneous layer as the energy is delivered in a short pulse. As the procedure also helps to stimulate collagen formation, you may actually see a slight improvement in volume. In my opinion, its one of my favorite laser procedures that yields amazing long term results for pigmentation, pores, skin texture, fine lines and collagen stimulation. Good Luck! - T.Khan MD

Answer: Laser Genesis If you’re looking to improve your pore size and increase the elasticity of your skin, Laser Genesis is definitely a great non-invasive treatment option for you. Essentially, the Excel V laser activates collagen remodeling which improves minor fine lines and wrinkles and helps create a more even, glowy skin tone. I encourage all of my patients to purchase a series of 6 treatments to achieve optimal results. Laser Genesis does result in minor facial contouring, not by actually eliminating fat cells but by increasing the elasticity of the skin, resulting in a tighter, lifted, taut end result.

Answer: LG and facial fat Thanks for your question! Laser Genesis won't dissolve facial fat- but it does have a significant tightening effect that is a result of the increase in collagen production. I love it as a treatment for pore size, uneven tone or texture and overall facial tightening. I think you will have great results and wouldn't worry about any fat loss.

Answer: Laser genesis Laser genesis is a great, non invasive way to stimulate collagen production in the dermis. The wavelength of light used by this laser will not penetrate deep enough to affect the fatty tissue under the skin. These treatments are best done in a series, we recommend at least 6. You should get nice improvement in the pore size and some tightening. Best of luck to you, Dr. Amy
