I have a scar in my nose and it is a pointed scar in my nose that i don't know what to do. I try many cosmetics medicine but it doesn't work. I feel so shy to many people because of my scar and it so irritating because it's almost 1year from now and it doesn't remove. I would like to get it completely removed and was wondering what procedure would give the best permanent result. Thank You...

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

This is a bad place to have a scar. Usual scar revision techniques may leave you worse off than you presently are because the cartilages of the nasal tip are firmly adherent to the overlying skin and therefore scars on the nasal tip, even from a revision, tend to be wider than we would like. I would have to examine you in person to give you your best option. If the scar is raised (you mentioned pointed) and shadows form below it, so the shadows make it more noticeable, it might be optimal to shave it with a scalpel. I do this form of revision very rarely, but this might be the best treatment.
