I applied Cosmelan 2 by myself once and my dead skin won't come off. Any suggestions?

The Cosmelan peel is not a very deep peel. You will have flaking on days 3-4. The at home application may cause some peeling too but you can gauge that and apply less often if needed. Dear Aioh7,Before Cosmelon treatment its advisable to prep the skin with a superficial peel to enhance penetration of the mask .Cosmelon 1 is then applied and left for the time advised by your physician depending on the type pigmentation being treated ,The next couple of days there will be excessive drying flaking and redness of the treated area that is managed with the hydra vital factor K moisturiser and sunscreen . Once the dryness subsides, Cosmelon 2 is applies to further exfoliate the treated area and help eliminate and residual pigmentation .You are advised to see your physician at least twice during the entire treatment  for a thorough follow up .
