Most retinol products can be applied after moisturizer, as they are mostly lipid soluble and can still reach your skin after applying even thick moisturizer. Depending on the ingredients that are included in your retinol; it is best to cleanse then apply moisturizer and wait 10-15 minutes prior to applying Retin-A. This order will help to decrease the chances of redness or peeling in the following days after application.
