Can a dental crown be replaced if I have braces? (photo)

I recently got braces put on so I’m at the start of my treatment but there is some buildup underneath my crown and it’s causing bad breathe no matter what I try so I was wondering if I could get it replaced while I’m in braces

Without a picture, x-ray, or clinical exam it is hard to make that determination. Most likely the dentist is recommending a crown/veneer because the bonding has been replaced a few times and is continuing to chip. A crown/veneer may not be needed however. There could be an interference with...

I am happy you are worried about your natural tooth. The best option is post and core. If it fails in the future, You have a choice of an implant at that time. Always take implants as a last option, because there is no option after that.
