For acne scarring, how many times (passes) are recommended by Cartessa on the exact same spot/scar PER treatment?

I recently had a Vivaci treatment and am scheduled for 2 more. The operator made only 1 pass over my entire face using a non-insulated tip @ level 6, 1.8mm and 600ms rf time. I was told that the next session would be using higher numbers. In any event, should only 1 pass be made on such things as rolling and tethered/anchored scars or should more be done (per treatment session) for best results? Thank you very much.

The parameters used for your treatment were spot on!  As for the amount of passes used to treat an individual, generally 1-4 passes may be used.  Your provider completing your treatment will determine how many passes they will complete depending on your skin response.  At your next appointment let your provider know how your skin did in the hours and days after your first treatment was completed.  This discussion will let them know how they may alter your next treatment.

With acne scars we have amazing results but go over the area around 3 times.  As well, we tend to turn up the energy to get better results. When we turn up the energy, we give numbing cream.  The VIvace works amazing on acne scars.  I would say going over the area around three times, changing the direction of the needle each time is what works best for our patients.
