F, 47 yo. I've been told for past 7 yrs that I have CTE. In 5 day MHWT, there were 1,420 hairs. 1.76% were < 3cm, 2.68% 3-5cm & 95.56% >5cm. Told was consistent w/ CTE. How does approx. 10% proportion of finer hairs being shed, factor into this? Are finer hairs just a result of high sheds? In the 1st 7yrs of CTE, I would have a few mos of considerably less shedding, ie, 125 hairs/day. This has not happened in 13 mos,but my density appears similar to past years. I've never tried any treatment.
