Why do Invisalign costs vary drasitically everywhere you go?

Invisalign is just a tool.  Told by the doctor to make a set of appliances, the company will make them...whether they work or not will depend on what the doctor asks for.Regular braces only cost a few hundred dollars....you pay for the expertise of the doctor as well as his or her overhead (staff, electricity, office, insurance,etc., etc., etc.)Having said that their are various levels of Invisalign ranging from a maximum of 5 aligners to an unlimited number for complex cases.  Some doctors quote fees that are really only for simple cases and either tell you that your case will be extra or that you have problems too difficult (for them) to do with Invisalign.Don't focus too much on the cost, focus on the doctor, you really only have one chance to get things right

Along with all other services (including braces), cost will vary from provider to provider.  My recommendation would be to choose the orthodontist you feel most comfortable with, regardless of price, as they will be creating your treatment plan and clincheck.  Remember, Invisalign is just a tool.  How the tool is used is up to your orthodontist.  Good luck!
