Will Medicaid cover Braces for my gap? (photos)

I have an appt for the 22nd but I just can't wait, I feel like they'll tell me no. But I'm really hoping this is my chance. Do you think they should? Because this is a problem that won't fix itself.

Each state has slightly different requirements and I am not familiar with the specific Medicaid guidelines in Florida.  Every state has a discrepancy index that is used to help treat the patients with the most need.  Usually a functional problem needs to be present, and not just an esthetic concern for Medicaid to cover treatment.  In my state there is no weight given to spacing of the teeth, so if spacing is the only problem that you have then you are not likely to qualify for the state to pay for your treatment.  You are a beautiful young woman and having your gap corrected will enhance your beauty!  I hope you are able to receive this treatment.  Most orthodontic offices offer financing programs that help make it possible for you to pay for orthodontic treatment so I recommend asking your orthodontist about it.

Medicaid services typically do not cover orthodontic services.  This does vary state by state and I have no idea of your state.  Medicaid is for services that are more of a need than a want for a lack of better words.
