Recently i visited a dermatologist..n diagnosed as chronic telogen effluvium...n prescribed 2%minoxidil.i hv strted using that...bt my hair loss hs doubled...it hs been 2 mnths now ...dt i m using minoxidil....bt my hair fll is still very severe....and my hair hs becum worse than before.Although i cud see few smll hairs...bt loss is quite sever...wat shud i do...shud i quit or continue

Unfortunately, MPB can appear without a direct family history. There are many genes for hair loss, and it is possible for generations to be skipped. Best of luck with your hair.
