Cost is a big factor so I don’t want to spend extra funds if there are not significant benefits.
Answer: PRP vs HA fillers Platelet rich plasma PRP and other growth factor rich therapies optimize the health of your skin and thus its appearance - often experienced by patients as “glowing” skin in the weeks after treatment. Collagen elastin are stimulated by these types of treatments as well, however it takes a series of treatments and number of months to get appreciable volume increases. Hyaluaronic acid HA fillers will give you immediate results but will not tighten the skin nor optimize your skin’s overall appearance like PRP can. Combining the two treatments to correct the volume deficit and then optimize the skin’s appearance will give you the best results.

Answer: Prf undereye prp/prf is a great long term(2-5 years)solution in helping the body stimulate collagen , but it take a series of 3-6 treatments to visually see results. HA filler is a great short term (1 year) solution for the undereye. In combination, they work best to give you both. If immediate Cost is an issue, then go with the HA filler, but knowing that you will probably pay More in the long term with using short term solutions. Cheers from vegas.

Answer: Is it worth the extra cost to do PRF vs HA in tear trough Thank you for sharing your picture. The tear trough is a tricky area to fill. Because of the thinness of the skin, there is a higher risk for undesired lumps and bumps and depending on the filler chosen there may be a slight blue tinge. Of course, if you get injected with a hyaluronic acid filler and you do not like it, it can be dissolved. PRP or PRF can be a safe option to treat this area. The product comes from you. There is no risk of lumps or bumps. Injecting and microneedling PRP or PRF can help with firming the skin and improving tone or texture in this fragile area. Typically more than one session is required. There may be a need for filler later. However, if filler is needed later, the amount of filler required should be less. When things do not go as desired around the eye, it can be very challenging for all involved. Yes, I think you should strongly consider trying PRF first. This is not an area to have cost alone make the decision for you.
