Do I change my trays the night before or the day of?

I am halfway through my first Invisalign trays. I started wearing them last Friday afternoon, and I diligently keep them in for 22 hours a day. What I am wondering about is when I change them. Do I change them on Friday night? Or do I change aligners on Thursday night?

Hello there,Congratulations on reaching the half way mark on your Invisalign treatment.  Generally, each Invisalign tray is worn for two weeks then changed, but it sounds like your trays are changed weekly.  If this is the case and you put your trays in on Friday, then you'll change to your next tray on Friday.  If you're unsure about when to change your trays, be sure to contact your orthodontist.  Your dental office will be able to answer specific questions like this for you. Good luck and I hope this helps. Your dentist should have advised you when to change them.  Generally Invisalign trays/aligners are changed every two weeks. You can change them Friday morning so you have the whole day to adjust.  Sometimes a new set of aligners can be uncomfortable at first and sleeping with it can disturb your sleep.  Whatever time you decide to change them, try to be consistent.  Hope that helps!  Good Luck!
