Hello, Yes , it is possible. It depends on what type of surgery and how extensive it is. I have done maybe 10 cases with Invisalign only nad Orthognatic surgery. At the time of surgery little hooks sometimes need to be added. Good Luck!

This seems abnormal. Are you in a significant amount of pain or are cleaning your Invisalign properly? It is quite possible you caught a stomach bug. Let it run its course for another day or two, and if it continues, call your Invisalign doctor. 

It's my advice to go with Invisalign [aligner] because you are planning ortho treatment a second time. Space reopening is common with high labial frenum cases. so undergo frenectomy surgery after aligner treatment with a bonded retainer to prevent relapse again.
