I'm very disappointed in the size of my implants. I got 500 cc over the muscle extra high profile silicone implants. I thought they were going to end bigger!! I'm very sad that I spent so much money on small boobs when I could've gone big!!! Will they expand during the process of drop and fluff?! I went to Victoria's Secret and I was measured as a 40dd but it doesn't feel like it. I got remeasured two weeks later and I was a 38d ! So disappointed!
Answer: Will my boobs get bigger after drop and fluff? I'm sorry to hear about the concerns you are experiencing after breast surgery. Having said that, given that you are fresh out of surgery, it is definitely too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed. You should be aware that a significant percentage of patients at the early stages of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. For example, many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting. Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. Although online consultants cannot predict whether or not you will be pleased with the long-term outlook, of the procedure performed, it is safe to predict that the breasts will change. If, in the longer term, you remain displeased with breast size, it is likely that re augmentation with larger breast implants will be possible. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Will my boobs get bigger after drop and fluff? Hi there, Thank you for your question. You will have to wait a good 3-6 months to see the final results. In the meantime it would be of your breast interest to focus on healing; consider speaking to your surgeon regarding your areola incision. The areola incision appears to have healing issues. Best, realdrsix

Answer: Will my breast get bigger Thank you for your question and photos. I'm sorry you are disappointed with your result. Did you also have a "donut lift"? I see you have scars going around your areolas. This lift tends to flatten the breasts. My advice is try to be patient. See what happens as your skin stretches with time. Good luck. DrMaz

Answer: Post Op Appearance Hello,You appear to be early post op. The state of your incisions around the areolas needs to be assessed in person by your Plastic Surgeon as soon as possible. While the tissues are very tight and swollen post op, the implants are under pressure and will seem smaller. They are expected to drop and fluff between 2-6 months post op.I recommend that you talk with your Plastic Surgeon about your concerns. All the best

Answer: Will Breasts Get Bigger After Settle and Placement HEALING AFTER BREAST SURGERY, AUGMENTATION, LIFTS1. pain is variable2. it takes 2-3 months for implants to settle and muscles to relax3. celebrex, motrin, and muscle relaxers can help4. massage and stretching may help5. everyone heals differently6. 4-7 days off from work is commonHEALING OF SENSORY NERVES: Tingling, burning or shooting pains, which will disappear with time and should not alarm you, indicate regeneration of the sensory nerves. If these sensations cause pain, repeated, local self-massage helps.ASYMMETRY: The two breasts commonly heal quite differently. One breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial shape. After complete healing, they will be more similar and natural. You must have patience, but if this causes concern, ask questions of the doctor or the nursing staff.SHAPE AND CONTOUR: The final shape of your breasts will start to look its best approximately three (3) months after surgery. It takes time for the skin and muscle to stretch and relax around the new implant. The breast will often look higher, firmer, and “less natural” in the first three (3) months. It can take up to a year to see your final result.FOLLOW-UP EXAMS: These are generally done in 1 week, 2 to 3 weeks, 3 to 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months to 1 year, and 1-2 year intervals. In our office we include all of your follow up appointments in the initial surgical fee. While there may be a number of issues of concern following your procedure the best thing to do is visit your surgeon with any questions to make sure that healing is progressing as it should or if additional work will be needed. Best of luck to you.
