I am having a sinus lift and 4 implants placed upper right and do not want to be sedated. The 4 teeth have already been extracted. I have had a lot of dental work done without sedation and am not afraid of having some discomfort during the procedure, I am fine with hearing the drill, pressure etc. I always throw up after mild IV sedation even with anti nausea medication given during the procedure. I do not like risking a problem as a result of throwing up on the surgical site so do not want sedation.
