Botox in masseter muscle changed my smile and erased my dimples, will my face go back to normal? (Photos)

If you got botox to the masseters, it is likely you got a dose of 20 to 30 units on each side.  Although botox usually lasts 3-4 months in other areas of the face, I find botox at the higher doses in the masseters lasts approximately 6 months.   
I would anticipate it wearing off in another couple months.  
Botox to the masseters can be very effective in slimming the face but injection should be kept low so that your smile isn't affected.  

Botox results resolve in 3-4 months, so you should see results gradually resolve. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. Hope this helps.

The effect of Botox usually dissipate after 3  - 4 months.  Check with your physician who injected you for the-evaluation and to look at before and current pictures.  Thank you.

BOTOX usually lasts 3-4 months and so I would expect you to see if wearing off soon. I would expect your smile and dimples to return first and then the masseter volume afterwards.
I would suggest going back to your original physician/surgeon ifnyiubare concerned at all.

Hi Sandya7,Botox for the masseters can take between 3-6 months to wear off. Actually, because of the movement while talking, eating, speaking, the effects of Botox in the area are bound to wear off sooner.All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
