Partial Shaving: You can opt to shave a small portion of the back of your head, which can be easily covered by your long hair when styled in a bun. This approach allows for the extraction of donor hair without significantly altering your appearance.

Long Hair FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): This technique allows for the extraction of hair follicles without the need to shave the donor area completely. The procedure involves carefully extracting individual follicles while leaving the surrounding hair long, which can help conceal any signs of the procedure.

For beard transplant, I either choose non-shaven FUE or long-hair FUE which does not require shaving the patient's donor site. The donor hair will be selectively trimmed to the desired length in non-shaven FUE whereas long-hair FUE does not require any trimming at all.
