hot and cold tooth sensitivity for months after crown

cc816
I had a new crown done twice due to the first bite being off and making my tmj worse. Before cememted it I saw a endodontist said my tooth nerve tested ok. After cementing I thought it felt loose so the dentist tooth pliers and moved it back and forth for a while to see if it would come off. It did not but I had pain after which he said was from the ligament . Since, I have had pain to hot and cold . Went back he said xray looks good root much be irritated and it needs time. Is this going to go away?
