Fluctuations in nose tip swelling 8 weeks post op, columella lower than right after taking the splint off, is that normal?

Eight weeks post op is still really early on in the healing process. Residual swelling, especially in the tip of the nose can take about a year to resolve as the contour refines. Swelling can also vary through the day, being more prominent in the morning. Your nose will probably continue to change gradually over the next several months. Hi.  Thank you for your question.  Asymmetrical swelling post rhinoplasty is very common.  It can take up to a year for your nose to heal completely including any residual swelling you may have.  Give it more time and it is most likely that you will see more and more improvement.  Best of luck to you.
