Why is my tooth so sensitive to cold 4 months after having my bridge replaced?

I had a bridge for 15 years with no problems besides the porcelain was breaking down and the metal was starting to show through. The dentist replaced the bridge, but the color was off terribly so she had to then redo that bridge. So basically two bridge replacements in 3 months. Four months later and my tooth is so sensitive to cold, especially cold air. I never had any problems until she replaced my bridge. I know she shaved my original tooth down even more than it was.

Crowns or Bridges repeated can cause pain due to the following factors.
1. Pulp in the tooth gets irritated due to the repeat procedure of tooth drilling etc., In this case you will get pain to cold where the pain lasts for up to a minute or more. Here that particular tooth will need to be treated by root canal treatment. 
2.  If the new crown or bridge is short of the prepared margin of the tooth , then the cold air or water could be irritating the exposing the Dentin of the tooth which contains nerves. Here the pain is very transient. Instant pain which vanishes once the crown is not exposed to cold air. Your dentist will have to cover the exposed margins with a filling material or sometimes make a new crown covering all the margins.
