I have had the same port pain for over 9 years since my surgery. I stopped using my Lap band (LB) after two years (completely unfilled, no slips). I have suffered in silence with this constant pain for a long time because of the shame I felt that I did this to myself and thought "why would I not hurt? I have a foreign object in my body!" But enough is enough. Last night I layed on my left side and just wept. I am so tired of hurting. The LB removal bariatric doctor did not even look at my port?

Your symptoms are very common,
The only treatment is to remove the causing factor, meaning that the Lap-Band & port needs to be removed. 
You can decide to get a Sleeve at the same time. This will remove the underlying cause and help you maintain your weight, or even lose additional pounds.
