I'm 26 and while I dont have many wrinkles, I have deep nasolabial folds. I also dont like my side profile as I feel like I have no cheekbones. My question is, what would I benefit most from- cheek or nasolabial fold filler? I feel like my chin is ok and is well augmented, but I just don't like my side profile still. What would you suggest and what fillers would you suggest?
Answer: Dermal fillers Hi @Celebrated189722. I recommend cheek fillers to help soften your nasolabial folds. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Facial filler Cheeks filler is more viscous and requires slightly more volume. Options would include Lyft, Volume, Contour. Nasolabial folds require a less viscous filler placed closer to the skin surface. Popular options are Refine, Define, Juvederm, Restylane, and Vollure. In your case a combination of both cheek and nasolabial fold would be best.

Answer: Mid and lateral cheeks fillers are the way to go For many of my patients, improving lateral and mid cheek contouring using fillers is the way to go to reduce nasal labial folds giving a more slimmer contoured look. When done properly, the effect can last 2-3 years. Adding an energy based treatment such as the Morpheus 8, gives a more finished look. Hope that helps.

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin fillers would do great for sculpting and defining like the folds, chin and cheeks. most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Nasolabial Folds vs Cheeks Thank you for your question! I would suggest definitely doing your cheeks over your nasolabial folds. By placing filler in the lateral portion of your cheeks you can actually get a little bit of lift to the lower face which can also minimize the appearance of the folds. I would start with 2 syringes of Voluma for the cheeks and you can always build from there. In terms of the chin, I actually think your profile would benefit from some more chin projection. I would suggest doing one syringe of Voluma. Hope this helps!
