Dear Deaa,   Age 22 is definitely an appropriate age for calf implants surgery. To reduce the risks of any surgery, it is very important that you do your due diligence carefully. Not all results are the same , because there are different techniques and different implants. Experience and skills are critical for good outcome.  Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who performed lots of calf implants surgery in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive. Although there is no specific legal age limit for calf implants, most plastic surgeons would probably agree that a patient should wait until they have fully developed physically (about age 21) and have exhausted all physical fitness means of growing their calves. However for many people, other than favorable genetics combined with rigorous consistent exercise, there is no other way to grow the calf muscles besides calf implants. The implants are made of soft semi-solid silicone rubber and placed surgically through a small incision in a crease behind the knee. Glad to help.
