I have digestive issues, feel as though my abdomen is not supported(feeling like you are getting squished), urinary incontinence(with coughing, sneezing, and some exercise). I have aches and pains that seem to be what distracts the Drs as when I ask if it could be DR they then tell me its not a painful issue. The pains I feel completely seem like muscle tearing. It is very hard to get through an assessment when the Dr shuts you down after reading a symptom you have even when not related to your visit.

Pain may not be from diastasis recti, as it would be rare for a 4" diastasis and in a male. However, hernias can occur within a diastasis recti. Have you been evaluated for a hernia, which can be causing the pain? Especially from a cough, getting up, and lifting.
