What setting should be used in a Cynosure Elite machine Nd:Yag for type IV/V Indian skin?

I went recently for my first appointment and barely felt any discomfort in my legs and sideburns. I want her to increase the setting for my next appointment as I really want to maximize the efficacy of the treatments. I had no side effects, redness, swelling etc afterwords.
