I am really interested in Emsculpt Neo, Exilis, and CoolSculpting but have vasculitis - can I get these procedures?

I was diagnosed with cutaneous vasculitis and an unknown connective tissue disorder, but they haven't been active. I am pretty healthy otherwise and am interested in Emsculpt, Exilis, and Coolsculpting to help with toning and getting rid of some bits of stubborn fat. Am I able to get these procedures? Thanks in advance!

I suggest running this by your rheumatologist or whoever is treating your condition.

A lot of the nonsurgical cosmetic procedures are done by nurses who may be more conservative in their judgment in regards to who was a good candidate so expect to get different opinions from different providers.

Personally I don’t have much faith in the treatments you’ve listed as being effective for anything other than the very slightest improvements and in particular Emsculpt should be seen as a temporary improvement.

The number of patients I’ve met who were satisfied with cool sculpting can easily be counted on one hand. The number of patients I’ve met who were disappointed with cool sculpting could take up every page on an old fashion telephone book.

Other than checking with your rheumatologist I think you’ll just need to call different providers and see how they feel.
