What should I do if the bone graft came out? I had a tooth extraction 10 days ago.

The doc added bone graft material into the hole. However, they started to fall out piece by piece on the third day after the seal came off, and now, I don’t think there are anything left in the hole. I supposed to see him in a week for a follow up. Should I ask to see him early? If the bone graft were gone, how would the bone grow? Thank you.
