Is it OK to have chin filler after genioplasty performed 2 years ago?

Hi, there wasn't much research regarding having chin filler after genioplasty, but it did say you could have it done if you've had a chin implant. I'm worried as I have ended up having chin filler, and while there was no pain, it's almost been a week and I can feel hard uneven lumps where my chin is. Physically it looks fine, but when you run your fingers over the skin you can feel the areas it's sunken and the areas with lumps. Should I have not gone through with filler? Kind regards

It is impossible to adequately answer your question without knowing: - the type of genioplasty you had, i.e. sliding or augmentation with an implant; - when the genioplasty was done, and where the incision(s) were made; - the type of injectable filler you received; - photos of your lower face (esp. focussing on the chin muscle (mentalis)) at rest and during movements. 
Irrespective of the aforementioned, be patient for the next two, or so, weeks.
