What can I do with this intial outbreak after 2 months of Roaccutane? (photos)

ive been on the oral steroid to stop the flare and even antibiotics... it just seems to be getting worse below are progressional pictures of just how bad it looks. This is post and pre oral steroids and antibiotics course.

Accutane tradiotnally is used for 15-20 weeks at a high enough cumulative dose and stopped. I personally do not prescribe maintenance dose.It requires the I pledge registration and this being used off label or not as originally intended.

The effect is temporary and will revert to normal after stopping drug. You could eat a low glycemic diet while on accutane .Testing for cholesterol and triglycerides in non diabetic patients with normal basleine cholesterol is no longer required as per recent recommendations.

You could have skin infection superimposed on acne which needs to be cultured and treated with an appropriate antibiotic not in the tetracycline class.The other alternative is opening the area to allow drainage of the area.
