Why does my new hair transplant looks white after shower? (Photo)

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.  You may be seeing extra tissue that has raised up after a shower.

Thank you for sending images. It appears that your hair transplant is fairly recent?It is not uncommon to have some crusting where the grafts are for several weeks after a hair transplant. In addition, following hair shock about 2-3 months after the transplant, one can develop small pimples where the new hair comes in. It is important to continue close follow up with your surgeon during this recovery which really takes a full year to see the final results. I would recommend contacting your surgeon for a follow up and examination.

Thank you for providing photos. There might be some crusting after washing which isn't uncommon. Refrain from picking at the scabs, you might dislodge the grafts. Make sure to follow all post operative instructions provided by your surgeon to achieve the best results.

Scabs look whitish after washing , it is normal ..You may start to wash your transplant area at second day of surgery with care and massage the transplant area gently so the scabs will fall off... After two weeks of hair transplantation  it is acceptable  to wash hairs as normal /preoperative period of surgery. All scabs should be cleaned with pressured (not gentle) massage to transplant area  after 2 weeks .Dont forget that you may wash your head with normal pressure and if you need you can use a wet towel with soap for massage the scabby area, it Works very well to remove scabs .Patient may feel free to loosen any scabs on his/her head by massaging and that will not  damage the grafts after 2 weeks . 

The white dots you are seeing is water logged graft edges from the shower and as you know that when your hair gets dry the white dots go away
