Answer: Jaw discrepancies This looks to be caused by a jaw discrepancy from an uneven growth pattern. Based off a comprehensive oral examination perhaps a Soft tissue surgery of removal of some of the support structures (frenulum) of the upper lips may allow for more tooth to show in your upper smile.Additionally, a consult with an orthognathic oral surgeon may allow for surgical jaw repositioning and grafting allowing for more upper smile to show. These may be coupled with cosmetic Porcelain veneers to lengthen and shape your upper smile.

Answer: Jaw I believe the issue here is the jaw and not teeth. Your upper jaw did not grow down as much as it should have. By jaw surgery the maxilla is grafted and repositioned in a way to give a full smile.

Answer: Teeth Not Showing When You Smile Hi There, you have an interesting smile! One solution is to have your front 4-6 teeth lengthened slightly through veneers, then visit a plastic surgeon who can remove some of the tissue below your nose and above your lip. You would only need about 3-4mm removed. Then your teeth would show when you smile. This is a soft tissue surgical procedure and less invasive, less time consuming and less costly than having your jaw repositioned. It worked really well for a patient of ours. He now has a lovely smile that he shows off every day!
