Pain after crown and 3 adjustments, so I need another adjustment?

I recently had a crown implanted on a tooth which previously (many years ago) had had a root canal. I have had 3 adjustments to date and it's still sensitive. Specifically, it's sensitive when I bite down on anything remotely hard (not hot or cold sensitive, just harder foods like a nut). Do I need yet another adjustment? I'm beginning to consider seeing another dentist. Thanks.

What's very possible is that you have a fracture in the root of the tooth which causes the pain when you're biting down on something hard. if that is indeed the case, the tooth would have to be removed so I certainly would try anything to help it feel better. At times, there  can also be an issue with the root canal itself, but since it was done so long ago chances are that would not be the case for your tooth. You might want to consider  having a consultation with a root canal specialist. He/She might be able to give you further insight into your problem. I hope this helps!
