I recently had a crown implanted on a tooth which previously (many years ago) had had a root canal. I have had 3 adjustments to date and it's still sensitive. Specifically, it's sensitive when I bite down on anything remotely hard (not hot or cold sensitive, just harder foods like a nut). Do I need yet another adjustment? I'm beginning to consider seeing another dentist. Thanks.

This is not a normal thing that you were facing same problem after 3 years of the treatment. It needs to properly examine your teeth to find out the problem. I would recommend you to consult some other dentist regarding for the treatment.
Sorry to hear that. the reason for dark spot of metal showing is due to the adjustment your dentist needed to make your bite right! The lab or the ceramist either put a thick metal so there was not enough room for porcelain in that spot, or your dentist missed to prepare your tooth on that spot...
