You can consider hair transplant and prp at the same time. Only prp will prevent further hair loss, however it wont give you much density

So yes you can try hair loss treatment with prp you may need 6 sessions at least to see growth. You may also want to consider hair transplant as you are considered an advanced hair loss patient and you will probably yield better results and if you go that route you will need maintenance with minoxdil after and/or prp.

PRP has not been shown effective in reversing hair loss. I look for scientific clinical double blind studies and there are no such studies published with objective metrics
