Pimple around dissolvable stitch 4 weeks after umbilical hernia surgery. Can I go to my GP or another surgeon? Can I pop it?

Pimple/pus arnd absorbable stitch in belly button.Main wound incision is closed, this is just above. Scar healed normally but I am hot & uncomfortable. Pus it not oozing. I am only able to see my surgeon once a month and I just saw him. This started today. Can I go to my GP or another surgeon? Can I pop this myself? #umbilical hernia surgery #belly button #abscess #dissolvable stitches
