Pimple around dissolvable stitch 4 weeks after umbilical hernia surgery. Can I go to my GP or another surgeon? Can I pop it?

Pimple/pus arnd absorbable stitch in belly button.Main wound incision is closed, this is just above. Scar healed normally but I am hot & uncomfortable. Pus it not oozing. I am only able to see my surgeon once a month and I just saw him. This started today. Can I go to my GP or another surgeon? If you are having worsening pain associated with redness at your incision site this may be an indication of an infection. You should schedule a follow up appointment with your surgeon and have them look at your incision.
