Lasik is a wonderful vision correction surgery providing you are an ideal candidate. Individuals who are not ideal candidates should stay away for Lasik. Other possible option could be PRK, LASEK and intra-ocular contact Len providing you meet the criteria for these surgeries. Your doctor can best guide you.
the quality of your scans is not good so i can't really interpret them well over the internetbut in general, whenever someone says "you can't get LASIK" you must realize that there is a 90% chance that you can get PRK (which will HURT) or LASEK (which will not, but take 2-3 days more to recover than LASIK) or epiLASEK (which has a recovery of only 1-2 days more than LASIK)
I cannot make a diagnosis over the internet. However, -8 nearsightedness and 540 micron corneas are both acceptable for Lasik.
This is why years after LASIK you can get poked in the eye and the flap can come back upevery LASIK surgeon who has seen over 10,000 cases has seen at least one flap ripped off by trauma:)if you play contact sports and are concerned about this then just get LASEK, the recovery is 1-2 days longer...
I would highly recommend that you see an eye specialist. There are many different things that could be causing the blurry vision, and some of these do much better if treated early. If your vision issue is due to a focusing problem, then a repeat Lasik would probably fix the problem.
Squint typically means that the eyes are not aligned together. This is not fixed with Lasik, but rather with eye muscle surgery. Your focusing problem can be fixed with Lasik.
