After about 10 weeks since the dental implant was placed (still no crown) I've started feeling high level of tenderness and pain upon contact with the surgical site. There was no pain/tenderness up to this point. Is this by any chance part of the healing process or is it more likely that my implant is failing? Or is it possible that it is an infection in question? In that case, can the implant be saved with a course of antibiotics?
