Invisalign Treatment - Transferring from UK to US, how do I go about this?

I have paid off everything to my UK dentist for invisalign and have requested that I get it fitted when I travel back next month. Will a US dentist will assist with any follow up work needed with regards to invisalign given that it was done by another dentist? Should I have my UK dentist transfer all of the information and products and have a US dentist fit it? Thanks

Dear lala230, Yes, brush your aligners when they are in your mouth. Then take them out and brush the insides and your teeth. Be sure to floss at least once daily. You will want to brush after every time you eat, even a snack. That cuts down on snacking, cavities, food stuck in the teeth and...

NOVADENT "Soft" cleaner is what I recommend and one packet lasts for at least one week with soak time of @15 minutes to clean and disinfect.  Best product I've found. Just make sure to click on the English version of their French Canadian website to order!

More important than staining aligners with coffee is distorting them. If you consume anything hot while wearing aligners, they will lose their effect and not move your teeth. Taking them out to drink coffee and brushing before replacing them should be fine.
