I have recently bumped the side of my nose with an elbow. Do I need a nose job to fix the side of my nose? (photos)

it is difficult to identify exactly what is the issue from the photo. If after examination by a nose surgeon you and they agree that surgery is indicated, a rhinoplasty can certainly address it.

 Trauma to the nose can result in a nasal fracture which can be either displaced or non displaced.  The trauma can also fracture the upper lateral cartilages off of the nasal bones. Medial and lateral osteotomies of the nasal bones are required to reset them. A cartilaginous spreader graft can be inserted underneath the concave upper lateral cartilage. The  dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage and must be shaved down to remove it. For many examples of hump removal and crooked nose repair in our practice, please see the links below
